My thoughts on the Goverment

Add caption
This week i have learnt about the Government

I think the main job of the government is to keep our country safe and sound and to look after our environment and communities. The government has the right to make decisions for our country .They help us with houses and police stations, which helps the community be safe. If you want an event to happen you will have to ask the local government for help, to allow you to make the event happen.

Migration model

This migration model shows the movement between two countries and the push and pull reasons of our speaker Donovan janse of him migrating from his country to another one. Donovan janse shared with us his personal taste of his life how it felt migrating to another country. This is his reflection. Donovan janse left his country because he didn't feel like its was safe for him and his family to stay there anymore. He also did a inquiry about New Zealand and how he saw that the education and higher income was a great opportunity for his teaching career. I predict that Donovan janse is going to be a great teacher and to share his personal taste of his life story.

New Zealand prime minister praised for response to mosque shootings

Image 1. New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern hugs a mosque-goer at the Kilbirnie Mosque on March 17, 2019 in Wellington, New Zealand following shooting attacks on two mosques in Christchurch on Friday, 15 March. Photo by: Hagen Hopkins/Getty Images.

Seeing the picture makes me feel sad inside because how the prime minister was hugging the Muslim goer and wearing hijab to represent the Muslim and how they lost their innocent lives. She is showing empathy by wearing the hijab and understanding their feelings and sharing. This is important to us all because it happened in our country and it might happen again we need to be safe and alerted at all times, This story also links to what we are learning about what is happening in the outside world.
